We provide specialist nurses to support families affected by dementia

Story

Five over 50 ladies will attempt to each run 50 miles during
lockdown in November 2020, running 250 miles in total.

Although we cannot do our running together due to lockdown rules, we will be supporting each other throughout the challenge in a virtual team.  Team members are Wendy Smith, Emma Killick, Fiona Hall, Fiona Ibberson and Kay Stowell.

The challenge begins on the 1st of November with the aim of each person completing their own 50 miles by 30th November.  We all the live in Glossop, Derbyshire so are  fortunate to have the Peak District,  on our doorstep, perfect for completing our challenge.

Some of us have been touched by the effects of
Dementia within our own close families.  We all believe that Dementia is an area which needs more understanding and support which will hopefully lead to a better outcome for those affected.
