Story
The Fish Police have been invited to perform and host a panel discussion about music and neurodiversity at South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas, in March 2018. Please help them get there!
The Fish Police came together through Heart n Soul, a creative arts company who believe in the talents and power of people with learning disabilities.
Formed of two autistic musicians and two non-disabled musicians, the band has been invited to perform their own music and host a panel at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, this March.
Combining upbeat surreal pop imagery with glitchy beats, The Fish Police have created their own unique blend of electronic glitsch pop. Made up of Dean Rodney Jr. (singer, rapper, songwriter), Matthew Howe (guitar), Charles Stuart (bass, co-songwriter, background vocals) and Andrew Mclean(live drums), they mix their love of computer games, cartoons, fast food and Japanese culture to create sounds that set them apart on the UK urban music scene.
We now have until Sunday 11 March to raise the funds needed to get the band to Texas and we would love your help!
