For the month of April, First Active 365 have decided to run/walk (and probably crawl) 5km every day to raise money for Alzheimer’s Research UK. 

Dale, Joel, Joe, Reiss and Yas will all be taking part in this and will be uploading their achievements through our social media pages (Please feel free to comment, like and share to show support).

As a healthcare agency, we see first-hand on a day to day basis the growing numbers of people in the UK suffering from Alzheimer’s, and how it can rob anyone of their independence and themselves. Currently, more than 920,000 people in the UK are living with dementia – a number expected to rise to over a million by 2024. Our aim is to raise £1000.00 which will go towards vital research in the fight against dementia, which we hope will work towards a cure, and helping more of the millions of people suffering.
