SpecialEffect enable people living with disabilities to use computers in any way possible, by adapting technology to their individual needs.
We met the incredible people at SpecialEffect in 2012 and, after witnessing their fantastic work first hand, instantly signed us up to run with them in the British London 10K.

With COVID behind us (?) Firefly Studios are once again running the 2022 London 10k in person! Nick, Tom, Anthony, Andreas, Aaron, Matt and Paul plan to run as part of our big completing the run in record time on Sunday 10th July.
We feel strongly about raising money for SpecialEffect, a truly amazing charity whose work hugely benefits rehabilitation, mental wellbeing and self-esteem. Through the use of innovative tools such as heavily customised controllers and eye-tracking software, the charity works to broaden the accessibility and inclusiveness of gaming beyond completely able-bodied individuals.
