We met the incredible, awe-inspiring people at SpecialEffect in 2012 and, after witnessing their fantastic work, instantly signed up to run with them in the British London 10K.

In an attempt to top the ridiculousness of past years' fancy dress efforts (above) this year Firefly Studios are running the 10k as characters from The Legend of Zelda! Tom, Andreas, Anthony and Nick plan to complete the run in record time on 9th July 2017.

We feel strongly about helping raise money for SpecialEffect, a truly amazing charity whose work hugely benefits rehabilitation, mental wellbeing and self-esteem. Through the use of innovative tools such as heavily customised controllers and eye-tracking software, the charity works to broaden the accessibility and inclusiveness of gaming beyond completely able-bodied individuals.
