Story
In August 2014 I'll be foolishly taking on the Fire and Ice Ultra marathon in Iceland, covering 250km in 6 days all in aid of the Kibera Mpira Mtaani (KIMTA) Charity in Nairobi, Kenya. Seeing as though I have never run a marathon this should be an interesting undertaking, but an acheivable one. Global giving is the best way for me to get the money to KIMTA as they have been raising for the charity for a number of years now.
Donations of any size are most welcome, having done some work with KIMTA over the past few years I have seen what a positive impact it has on kids living in Kibera. I'm in touch with the head of the project Vincent Kegode and so able to see what the funds raised will go towards and be able to update anyone on the how their donation has made a difference. A link to KIMTA's website is below.
