Story
On the 23rd of May 2020, I will ride the Prudential Ride London route on Zwift (an online indoor cycling platform) - that's over 100 miles long and 7,500 ft high - to help raise money for food banks during the Covid-19 pandemic. This will be a challenge for me as I barely cycled 100 miles in February alone, never mind in one day! I aim to finish this in 7 hours, with the support of Adam Shaw and Simon Fawcett who will riding (much faster than me) at the same time. Please donate if you can!
Last year, food banks in our network provided more than 1.6 million emergency food parcels to people in crisis. More than half a million of these went to children. It’s not right that people can’t afford the basics. With your help, we can help end the need for food banks. As a nation, we expect no one should be left hungry or destitute. Illness, disability, family breakdown or the loss of a job can happen to any of us. With your help #ThisCanChange
