Story
LONDON MARATHON 2023
I am running my first ever marathon for Brain Research Uk ON 23rd April
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Five years ago I was diagnosed with a Brain cyst. The cyst was pressing on the Trigeminal Nerve causing intense facial pain and epilepsy. I have undergone three brain operations at the wonderful St George’s Hospital, London and through the skill of my fantastic surgeon Dr Simon Stapleton the cyst has been completely removed and my seizures are controlled thanks to my amazing Neurologist.
I am a keen Park Runner and due to the pain I had to stop. By challenging myself to run my first ever marathon I am raising money for Brain Research UK in the hope that their work will give more understanding of the condition and that through the research it will help others with similar symptoms.
