Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm running the New York Marathon on 4th November, and in doing so want to raise as much money as I can for Alzheimer Scotland. The race takes place 3 days after my 30th birthday. This is a race that has been top of my "must do" list since I caught the running bug, and I figured what better way to celebrate/commiserate entering my 30s than doing the greatest marathon in the world and raising lots of money for Alzheimer Scotland at the same time!

Alzheimer Scotland is a charity which helps people with dementia, their carers and families. Having watched my Grandpa suffer from this awful illness, I want to raise as much money as I can to enable Alzheimer Scotland to continue to provide this great, much-needed service.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you!
