Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I was diagnosed with autism in May this year.
Living with autism is difficult and impacts every single aspect of life.
It is hard to get out of the house most days because of the traits that come with autism, so my goal is to do 100 miles this month to help show myself and others that living life with autism does not have to be negative and life does not have to stop.
There isn’t enough knowledge out of there for neurotypical people about how autism portrays itself day to day.
Women are especially less likely to be seen or get support and the majority of people don’t actually know what autism is beyond the stereotypes portrayed by media.
If you can give anything even just a little, we can be on the way to make the world more understanding of autistic people’s needs and adjustments beyond the obvious and give more support for neurodivergent people.
