We Did It!!! Sunday 14th August, we jumped from a plane and lived to tell the tale.

We Will, We Will, Skydive! But Why?

A few months ago, I was approached to run the London Marathon, my reply, was "I'd rather jump out of a plane!"

I'm still not enitirely sure if I meant this or if I was being sarcastic, but I'm being held true to my word.

My fellow "marathon runner" Mark, suggested we make it a team event for the whole of The Dominion Theatre to be involved in. Subsequently, on Sunday 15th May 2011,14 Dominion staff and We Will Rock You crew will be skydiving in aid of our nominated charity, The Mercury Phoenix Trust.

Our combined team target is £15,000. Whatever you are able to sponsor us, will be greatly appreciated.

Why The Mercury Pheonix Trust?

Freddie Mercury died of AIDS 20 years ago this November.

The Mercury Phoenix Trust was founded to distribute the monies raised from a concert held to raise awareness and money to support AIDS related charities.

Since 1992 the Mercury Phoenix Trust has collaborated with groups as far removed as the World Health Organisation to grass-root organisations run partly by voluntary workers in Africa and India, concentrating on HIV/AIDS education and awareness in the developing world.
