Back In November 2019 , sitting in the ancient arena in Athens , missing my son who had missed his flight, I shed a tear believing my last ever  marathon run was done.

OK . I admit there was also the relief of finishing and perhaps the relief that marathon running was over ? 

So what am I doing this again for ? On the 14th May ? The Clarion call! This sponsoring firm ,Clarion , employs a family member. 

And yes the bug for running still stirs and hopefully will carry me over the finish line. It’s  not a flat course .
