“£90 to celebrate 90 years young on 19th May 2020”
Celebrating in Lockdown!

My mother, Vi MacKay, is going to be celebrating her 90th Birthday on 19th May this year and as we have had a few requests for present ideas, because so many small charities are finding this unprecedented time so hard to carry on, she has decided in lieu of presents this year, to suggest if any of her friends or family would like to help her celebrate her special day they should send a donation to “The Abingdon Riding for the Disabled Group” to mark this amazing milestone birthday. If everyone can send just £1, this would raise £90 for this wonderful charity.

“Riding for the Disabled” has always been a charity close to
Mum's heart, she has been connected to the main Abingdon group for over 50 years as both a helper and fundraiser. Mum also started and ran her own RDA group in the 90’s at Stonehill, in Abingdon providing riding for residents of Stowford House and Milton Heights. A highlight of her RDA time was meeting HRH Princess Anne when she opened the new group premises centre at Southmoor, Nr Abingdon.

Please join Mum and raise a virtual glass of champagne on the 19th May to help her celebrate.
