Story

Hi there

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Wow what a day.  It was a brilliant atmosphere with fantastic supportive crowds and I really enjoyed my first Marathon.  All that training over the winter paid off and apart from a few aches and pains in my knees in the last few miles I didn't hit any 'wall' or suffer cramps.  Met some wonderful people around the route - all raising money for different charities - well done everybody!

As some of you will know my father-in-law Donald Pearce passed away last year and I wanted to run in memory of him and to raise money for research into Parkinsons Disease - an illness that he bravely coped with over many years.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now

Thank you so much  and lots of love Fiona xx

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
