Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Glasgow Women's 10k in memory of my wonderful Mum Isobel Watson who sadly passed away on 23rd January 2012. Mum was diagnosed with MND on 23rd June 2011 after suffering symptoms for a short time. The diagnosis came as a huge shock to the whole family as we knew so little about this terrible illness.

From the moment Mum was diagnosed the wonderful people at MND Scotland were a great support to her, Dad and the whole family offering practical assistance and advice. I know Mum would be very proud of me participating in this event to help raise vital funds for the continued support of people with MND and their families.
