As many of you will know, to commemorate Bill's life, we are holding a Memorial Walk on Saturday the 24th October from the car park above Dunkeld up to Loch Ordie and back. This is a walk that Bill and Linda enjoyed on many occasions both with family and friends and it seems a fitting tribute to Bill to walk it one more time! We are hoping for good weather and friends and family to enjoy the walk with us all. The more the merrier! Drinks and/or High Tea at the Erigmore Estate Zebra Bar and Restaurant will follow the walk and even if you just want to join us there we will be glad to see you.

As you can see all money raised from the page will go to Leukaemia Research and will boost in a small way the money that Andrew and Fiona raised at their recent wedding when they decided to ask wedding guests for donations to the charity instead of gifts. PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY!

P S The 24th dawned damp, windy and fairly miserable! However, undaunted,  the assembled crew - with Lin, Andrew and Fiona in their midst - made their way up to Loch Ordie and back in record time! Jennifer, who had been ill, joined us for  a most enjoyable meal at Erigmore. It was said on more than one occasion that Bill was probably watching us from above and laughing at the sodden state of us all! Knowing him, we are sure that he would have appreciated both the comedy of it all and the sentiment behind the day.   

P P S There is a sale of books and raffle tickets for 'Leukaemia for Children' in Monifieth High School from the 7th December until  the holidays. Buy a raffle ticket for £1 and take a free book! If you don't want to buy a raffle ticket then buy a book for £1. All proceeds from book sale to go to Bill's Leukaemia fund.
