Having worked in the shipping industry for almost 10  years, and having been in ports and been taken onto vessels, you would need to be there to understand the lives of these men who live and work on the vessels.

Imagine being at sea for days, weeks, months, away from your families, special times, holidays etc, shipping goods around the world. The Sailors society provides a personal lifeline for seafarers on board the ships and when they step ashore.
