Story
I am aiming to run every day for 366 days of 2020 and hit 2020 miles. I am doing this to remind myself that I am alive and that I must not waste my health. Along the way I have many races London marathon being one that I can only dream of experiencing. To do this dressed as wonder woman will be incredible.
UPDATE I did it!! 366 days and 2400 miles
Thanks for all your continued support, I will just keep running until I decide not to now 🤣
UPDATE I have already ran every day this year and on over 1200 miles and I ran a sub 4 marathon on my own just to prove to myself that I could. I ran a 50k field marathon on the 26th April in under seven hours. Every single day I have dedicated myself to run for those that can't!
UPDATE
I have now passed my 2020 mile target, new target is 2400 miles and have run for 325 consecutive days so far.
UPDATE
I will be running 6 x half marathons on the week of the 23rd November to raise the last few pounds for my total, after running 100 miles on August 31st it will be the first time I have had such a big mileage week but I am looking forward to the challenge
I first heard the word sarcoma three years ago. My brother in law was diagnosed with terminal cancer. After 4 months of pain discovered he had ewings sarcoma in his hip. Its a very rare form of bone cancer but its also a very aggressive one and it is massively underfunded, this is why I thank you for visiting my page.I’m supporting Sarcoma UK, a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments.
I chose to choose Sarcoma Uk because a young man I became to know through other charity work told me he also had a sarcoma. I was so shocked to hear that Rob had a sarcoma. I mean it's so rare yet here it strikes again. This time its synovial sarcoma and he too faces a terminal diagnosis. He has a young son, a loving wife and do you know what, my tears are wasted so all I can do is do what I have done since I watched my brother in law become paralysed. I run. I run and I raise money and awareness. It's truly not fair that young families are destroyed because theres a lack of research into these rare cancers.
Please can you help me! All I ask is that you donate as little as you can. Buy a raffle ticket, or bid on an auction......and I ask you to cuddle your lil ones and live your life for the now. Running london marathon is on my bucket list, a list that I have found myself ticking off and adding to at such a rate this year and this is why!
Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult diagnose and lone of the hardest to treat. By supporting me, we can help change this. Your donation will help researchers find answers, keep our Support Line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care.Thank you for your support.
