The Charity makes the most of every last penny and is very grateful for the support and generosity of our donors and the tireless efforts of fundraising volunteers and supporters who give their time and effort to help us. Our Heart and Lung Fund supports the care of our cardiology, coronary care patients and all respiratory services. The fund buys new equipment and the new Cardiology Catheter Discharge Lounge that opened in January 2018 was built entirely with charitable funds.

Michael Pratt had a pace maker and defibrillator fitted in June 2018. He was then diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis in November 2018. Dad was a loving husband, father and papa! He would always be the most immature person in the room by making jokes out of anything or anyone. He loved his parties and would always find any excuse to have one!!

Dad battled through his illness without any complaint which then sadly deteriorated quite quickly within 4 months and passed away peacefully on Sunday 10th January 2021 in Warwick Hospital.
