Event: Raising the roof theatrical marathon, on 11 March 2017
Wallingford's theatre/cinema is leaking. The 160 year old glass roof is well past its sell-by date and must be replaced now. The cost is huge and we need your help.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you know I am a member of the Sinodun Players and our home is the Corn Exchange in Wallingford. Many of you will also know that at times the audience on the front row have had to use an umbrella because when it's raining and the wind is blowing in the wrong direction the roof leaks!  Also it gets very hot in the auditorium, so a new roof will provide much better ventilation.

I have been a member since I was 15 when I was principal boy in my first ever pantomime, a lot has changed since then ! The theatre is a big part of my life, so I want to do what I can to help. So if you fancy supporting me and my fellow performers in our 12 hour Marathon then please donate to this essential project on my JustGiving page, any amount will be very gratefully received.

The Marathon  is on 11th March starting at 9.30 am finishing with a Gala performance at 8pm. The theatre will be open all day, £5.00 for each performance (lasting 2 hours) £12.00 for the Gala .

Thankyou for taking the time to read this xx Fiona
