We fund care, campaigning and research to achieve a world free from MND

Story

This September I will be running the Belfast Half Marathon and supporting the NI Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association on behalf of #TeamJago through our corporate social responsibility initiative, The Go Project.

I came into contact with the MNDA NI through my Masters dissertation a number of years ago. I wanted to support them after learning more about the illness and the work MNDA do for families in Northern Ireland. There are approximately 120 people in Northern Ireland with MND. It is a rare terminal illness, with a 2-5 year prognosis. There is no cause, and no known cure. It affects your ability to walk, talk and, eventually, breathe.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you for taking the time to read this - all help is greatly appreciated!
