Story

I've thought about doing this for a few months now but after recent events I have the motivation - kick up the arse I needed to get my finger out and get it done.... #NewYear #NewChallenge

Sadly on 10th January this year my dad suffered a brain haemorrhage which caused him to have a sever stroke, devastatingly on Feb 1st he lost his fight and passed away at only 61.
I have now set myself the challenge of running the Edinburgh Marathon on May 28th (yes that's 26.2 miles) on behalf of The Stroke Association.
In the U.K. alone every 5 minutes someone suffers a stroke and this is the third most common cause of death....
I am hoping to raise awareness and as much money as possible for this charity which is very close to my heart, the work these the people do at The Stoke Association is incredible. All donations are greatly received my myself and my family in memory of my dad, my best, my hero.
Please leave me a wee message so I know who you are. Many thanks Fiona xx
