Story
Hi Everyone,
On the 21st April 2013 I will be taking part in the London Marathon for the charity Macmillan.
This is going to be a massive challenge to me, 26 miles is a very long way!!
Seventeen years to date of the marathon my grandparents "Nanny and Poppa" sadly passed away within 48 hours of each other and the support and help we got from Macmillan was outstanding.
Being their only grandchild and loved so much. I miss them tremondously and want to do it for them and the charity that supported my parents and I through the tough times.
I have never run a marathon, half marathon or even done long distance running before, last time was cross country at school!
I am increasing my running distance every day. Its a tough challenge but I am enjoying it.
I would really love to have as much support on the day as possible so please family and friends please get to London and cheer me on my way!
Macmillan Cancer support improves the lives of people affected by cancer.
Macmillan are a source of support, helping with all the things that people affected by cancer want and need. Its not only patients who live with cancer, they also help with carers, families and communities. They support them every step of the way. They fund nurses and other specialist care professionals and build cancer care centres. They listen, they learn they act to help people live with cancer.
Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page.
