So come September I shall be attempting to run The Great North Run!!! All 13.1 miles of it to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. Over the years I have known so many friends and family who have been affected through illnesses that the British Heart Foundation's research supports, not just heart disease but strokes, diabetes and much more. Hopefully I can help raise some money and make a difference and thinking of those others who I've lost or who would just love to be able to run again after having a stroke will keep me going on the day when I start to slow down!!! Every pound helps so anything you can give is very much appreciated. Thank you for your support and wish me luck as I am going to need it!
