We fund research into type 1 diabetes to find a cure for type 1 diabetes

Story

Rebecca (11) our youngest child was diagnosed as Type 1 diabetic on 21st October 2008.

Rebecca does her own injections and her own blood tests every day. Since being diagnosed, Rebecca has been so positive and has proved an inspiration to us with her ability to cope with this lifelong disease.

JDRF's aims are perfectly aligned to the hopes and dreams of Rebecca and all those touched by this chronic, life threatening condition....to find a cure for type1 diabetes.

Find out more about the charity and Type 1 diabetes at http://www.jdrf.org.uk/

And that's the reason why we are participating in the Walk To Cure Diabetes in Aberdeen on 19th September 2010 to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

So please sponsor us now, any donation large or small will help towards the funding of research to find a cure which will transform the life of Rebecca and all those with type 1 diabetes.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thanks so much - we really appreciate it x
