I am back for some more gruelling and pain staking training.

This time I'm going for Gold with the Olympic Distance

1500m Swim

40km Bike

10km Run

I shall be taking part in Allerthorpe Classic Triathlon on Sunday 9th August. Last year I actually set up a tribute fund in my dads name to help leukaemia research to continue to find answers for blood cancer.

I still think of my dad everyday, he can't tell his story but I can, he went through several drugs which if it wasn't for this wonderful charity he could of fallen at the first hurdle, once the first drug stopped having an affect.

Luckily due to research there were several more for him to try meaning his life was prolonged for a further 6 and a half years. To think the money I aim to raise could help find more drugs that could now help people live longer makes it all worth while. My dad can no longer be helped but I have the power to continue to help others.

Every penny counts and helps drive me forward when I hit tough parts of my training.
