I'm very excited about running the BUPA London 10k in support of Bridge2Aid. Working in the dental business we are always trying to pamper our patients and give them extra benefits over and above the basic dental service we take for granted - immediate pain relief, pain free dentistry and hygienic working practices. None of these can be taken for granted in areas of Africa where there is NO access to dental services and many people suffer for years with unimaginable pain from tooth abscesses, decay etc. Bridge2Aid gives training to local health workers, so they can relieve dental pain and the suffering it brings. All monies raised go directly towards the cost of this training and is not wasted on administration.
