Story
This holiday for my Bronze D of E Volunteering, I am doing a sponsored ride to raise money for my chosen charity, Greyhounds in Need.
I have chosen this charity as we are always hacking past our local greyhound rescue down the road from us and I love seeing the dogs being out and about. Also, I am doing Spanish for GCSE and the charity rescues and rehomes many Spanish galgos, the Spanish-bred hunting greyhounds, around Europe. You can look at the charity's website here: http://www.greyhoundsinneed.co.uk/topFrame.htm?http&&&www.greyhoundsinneed.co.uk/
My sponsored ride will be taking place during the Easter holidays and I have set up a Just Giving page for donations. For the Bronze award I have to raise an amount of £150... therefore this is my target! It would be amazing to raise this much but every little counts, and all the one pounds add up!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
