Story
My name is Finn. I was born December 18, 2015. When I was born, the nurses noticed that I wasn't nursing very well. They did some testing and realized that I have 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome. I wasn't able to swallow properly and needed more hospital time. As a result, I had to be in the hospital for my very first Christmas. Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh was so good to me and my family for that stay and many other future stays. The staff there is always so kind and supportive and willing to help us in any way they can. As a thank you, we started Finn Gives Back in 2016. It started as a way to send goods that were needed in the NICU and PICU. Since the Pandemic, they've switched to fundraising instead of physical drop offs of goods. Last year, we raised $1395 and had one of the top 25% of fundraising pages. We'd like to hit at least $1000 for CHP again this year. Please join us to give what you can. We know that times are hard right now, so if giving is not an option please consider sharing our page with family or friends. Thank you all very much!
