Fight for George
From birth George was a miracle, from scans we knew he had a hole on his heart and although we didn’t know about his condition we were certain that he would be very fragile. When he was born he stopped breathing several times as he was held in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Queens hospital for two weeks, despite his trials he kept fighting back, holding onto life.
When he was five months old he underwent open heart surgery, and since then he has had other surgeries and procedures. Just after his first birthday we were told his diagnosis of Kabuki Syndrome.
Georges resilience is an inspiration to me and as I take my fight into the ring on the 28th of May it will be in honour of him as he continues to inspire me as he overcomes every obstacle in his little life.
George has therapy in many different ways through physiotherapy, music, swimming and horse riding. These therapy sessions have enabled George to flourish, but they come at a very high cost. So I am undertaking this boxing match in the hope to raise enough money for George to be able to continue his priceless therapy.
Please donate to this vital cause and see George go from strength to strength, as you become part of George’s journey!
