We support those affected by brain injury to help them rebuild their lives

Story

At some point after the 2nd bottle of Malbec last New Year's Eve, Miles announced that, to mark his fiftieth birthday this July, he intended to partake in a physical challenge to prove he still has something to offer this world! At some point after the 3rd, I agreed to join him!! Now, along with another couple of lunatics, Howard Mighell, Andy Goodyear and Malcolm Thomas, we are registered to take part in this year's South Downs Ultra Challenge - a 100km trek along the South Downs Way in Sussex starting on 25th June and to be completed in a maximum of 30 hours! We have elected to support Headway Hurstwood Park as our chosen charity. Based in Newick and the charity partner of Newick Cricket Club, Headway Hurstwood Park are a superb local organisation who provide fantastic support for people who have suffered significant and debilitating brain injuries. Their work is invaluable and makes a huge difference to many people whose quality of life would otherwise be significantly poorer. We are delighted to be able to support them and hope that you will feel able to donate and help us reach our target of £2000. If we can raise more that would be fantastic.

Many thanks,

Malcolm and Miles.
