Story
Throughout Erin's treatment for Hodgkins Lymphoma we have been supported by Teenage Cancer Trust Centre at Southampton General. Cancer is the worst, but as a teenager, when you cannot meet your friends and do all the things you should be doing, it is a nightmare. The support of the Teenage Cancer Trust is a lifeline. It not only provides excellent medical care but a caring, relaxed environment where the team do everything possible to make a terrible experience the best it can be. For Erin, it is a place to meet others of a similar age, share stories on how to deal with physical side effects and isolation of chemo and, mentally support each other through very tough times.
We recently had very bad news that Erins cancer has relapsed. Raising money for this charity seems even more important than ever now, so I will be taking on the challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon on 3rd April.
Thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can. It really will make a massive difference to us and to others dealing with this horrible disease.
The comeback is always stronger than the setback💙
