There are less than 900 mountain gorillas left in the world and all sub species are now critically endangered. At this rate it's possible that in the next 10-15 years, they could be extinct in the wild. 

Gorillas share 95-99% of their DNA with us - it is unthinkable that these majestic animals could be extinct in the wild in our lifetime  - it is time to act - everyone can do something - this is my something.

I am running to raise money for The Gorilla Organisation (www.gorillas.org) who work tirelessly to protect gorillas from poachers, safeguarding their forest home and helping local people conserve the environment.
