Story

This October the FHS sports tour will be travelling to Sri Lanka on a Hockey and Netball tour.  During our stay we will be spending the day volunteering at the Rainbow centre.

The Rainbow Centre was founded in 2005 and set up my a FHS parent and daughter. They provide education, welfare and medical treatment and love to children living in extreme poverty in Sri Lanka.  The Rainbow Centre helps children break free from a cycle of poverty that would otherwise trap them in a world of crime, begging and abuse.

Since openeing, the Rainbow Centre has enabled more than 500 children to go to school. It is thanks to generosity and compassion that the Rainbow Centre is able to continue its amazing work.

Over the next couple of months the Sports Tour Team will bike, run, swim and row the 8010 km, the distance they will eventually fly. This is a hard challenge but we are up for it!

Any donations for this incredible charity would be greatly appriacted.
