The Porch

After months of anticipation, and the generosity of countless individuals, our offer on a building just down the road from The Porch has been accepted. This means that we will be able to continue to provide and to improve our service to our members. The church building is immersed with historical features, and it is part of our vision to maintain and restore the churches external features whilst re-designing the interior to create a flexible, workable space for our service users to thrive. Our first task is to prepare and clear the site, this will entail demolishing the lobby and removing the existing toilets and form blank openings in the structural walls. This will take around 6 months and will cost approximately £9,460.00 we will then be in a position to undertake the internal re-designing to accommodate all the services we desperately need to provide. To complete phase 1, the estimated figure is £152,000. Please donate to help us alleviate homelessness.....
