The Novi will spend the night in the cardboard shelters they have built in the Quad to raise awareness of homelessness and learn from those who Porchlight has helped get off the streets and back in control of their lives.
The next morning the boys will participate in activities that will help them understand the main routes to homelessness, the randomness of luck and chance in peoples lives, and challenge their thinking behind cause and blame.
The most vulnerable in our communities are struggling under the weight of financial strain and the pandemics devastating impact on mental health. This year more than 9,300 individuals were supported by Porchlight and their partners, and while Porchlight has been able to adapt effectively to new ways of working and make sure that the people who need them most are not left behind, there are more challenges to come.
Please support in whatever way you can to help Porchlight to support the most vulnerable in Kent
