I am going to be swimming 22 miles (the equivalent of the English Channel)  over 12 weeks. My Dad, who is diabetic, told me about the swim22 challenge and said that he would be taking part so I thought I would support him by doing it too.

So really I am just doing it to motivate my Dad.....But if I can raise a little bit of money for Diabetes UK at the same time, then great.
