Story
The RNLI is an essential life saving charity with a network of volunteer stations, covering the entire country. Even central London. Last year alone, the RNLI launched lifeboats to nearly 9000 incidents assisting over 9400 people. They provide lifeguards to over 200 beaches, attending 19000 incidents in 2018.
My twin and I have first had experience of the help that the RNLI provide so its a cause close to our hearts and have decided to support them by running the London Marathon. Given that neither of us are particularly natural runners, this is going to be a huge challenge.
The RNLI and its volunteers are available 24/7, 365 days a year, and head out to sea in any and all conditions to help those in danger. This costs a lot of money, and so sponsoring even a small amount is really appreciated.
