Story
On the 2nd October, Felsted is hosting the 'Felsted Neon Colour Run' in aid of two charities Sparkle Malawi and Volunteer Uganda. The money raised by the event will be shared between these two amazing charities. We are aiming to raise £10,000 overall in order to make a difference to lives of children in Africa.
Sparkle Malawi is an orphanage that was started by an Old Felstedian, Sarah Brook, to saves the lives of children aged 0-5 years old. £10 pays for one orphan to stay at the Sparkle orphanage for a month so this money would save numerous children's lives, as well as develop the orphanage further.
Volunteer Uganda helps to provide children with an education, which means that they can change their lives, giving them a chance at a better future. £15 pays for education, boarding, water, food and healthcare for a child in Uganda for a month.
We really appreciate your support with these two very worthwhile charities and feel proud to unite with you in making a difference to the children in Africa.
