Felix Holland-Bosworth - Maidwell Hall Snowdonia JDRF Walk 2015

Felix's Maidwell Hall Snowdonia JDRF Walk 2015 · 4 June 2015
Dear Family and Friends...
As many of you will know, last Summer, out of the blue, I was diagnosed with Type 1 DIABETES, it was a huge shock for me and my family but I'm determined NOT to let it change my life in anyway and try my hardest to carry on as normal as possible.
This Summer I will be leaving Maidwell Hall, my Prep School where i'm currently Headboy and move to my Senior School which is a daunting but exciting thought.
As part of my leavers trip, myself and 13 other boys and Girls, 13 Fathers a Mother and our Headmaster will be walking 30 miles across the most challenging range of Snowdon Mountains during which we will ascend 8 mountains over 3,000 feet whilst carrying 15-20kg rucksacks with all of our tents, sleepingbags and all of our food. We will be walking and camping wild for two of the nights without backup or support.
We are raising money for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) a charity close to my heart and committed to finding a cure for type 1 Diabetes
Thankyou so much for visiting my just giving page.
