Story
Felicity & Neil are cycling 200 miles on the Queen Eleanor Cycle to raise funds for the homeless to support the work of 'The Connection'.
We start the ride near Lincoln where Queen Eleanor died, wife of Edward 1 and follow the Queen Eleanor crosses to Charing Crross, London, over 4 days with overnight stops in village/church halls.
The Connection at St Martins works with people as they recover from life on the streets and move on to meaningful, fulfilling futures and a place to call home. They do this by tackling the underlying causes of rough sleeping as well as offering practical help. They work with people, not for them, and put every individual person at the centre of their recovery. As part of St Martin-in-the-Fields, they have been on the frontline helping people in crisis for over one hundred years, right in the heart of Westminster which has more people sleeping rough than anywhere else in the UK. During the pandemic, when they had to change how they delivered services to keep their staff and clients safe, they supported over 1,100 people on their journey away from homelessness.
Thank you for supporting.
