I have chosen to run the London Marathon and Bath Half Marathon to raise money for Diverse Abilities Plus, which is a Dorset based charity that supports people with a wide range of learning and physical disabilities throughout their lives.

I was lucky enough to visit Langside School and Barnabas the charities adult day centre. I saw first hand the benefit and difference the work of the charity makes. 

Barnabas was a lively centre where I met some amazing, inspirational individuals both who worked at and used the centre. The staff provide an invaluable 1:1 service and it is somewhere that gives support, care, enjoyment, somewhere to make new friends and enables the development of individual skills.
