Hi guys,

I've decided to raise some money for Cancer Research UK since I'm doing the Great North Run. As you may know the Great North Run is a particularly difficult half marathon - I found out recently, so I think that warrants some big donations to Cancer Research UK. It does if you don't think through the logic anyway.

Regardless of the course (and my apparent inability to actually run) I would love it if you donated some money because it's a great cause. I've lost a number of my family and friends to cancer and I know a lot of you are in the same position. Cancer Research UK do some great work looking at new drugs and treatments for cancer patients and ultimately set about saving lives. Anyway if you can give any amount that'd be great plus, raising a bit might ease the pain as I run round.
