Story

As a Cognitive Behaviour Therapist, I am proud to work with Walking with the Wounded.  They are a charity who supports those who have served in the Armed Forces and their families, empowering them to regain their independence, thrive and contribute in our communities.

We have adapted and we continue to support our ex-service community during this difficult time.  However, funding to provide vital support to ex-veterans relies exclusively on charitable donations, to which there have been significant cuts.

Many veterans experience psychology challenges when they leave the forces.  Receiving psychological therapies really does allow individuals and their families to better transition into civilian and family life, together with helping them to heal from trauma and disability.  Every mind matters.
