I’ve had a mad idea. Well, I’m leapfrogging on a few friends mad idea actually and they have agreed to let me come along despite my ever so slightly wonky legs.

I’m going to climb Ben Nevis... or if needs be, crawl up it.

The climb will no doubt be a killer but for me, pain is temporary and achievements permanent. I’m sure the lads Dean Stanbury, Phil Warner, Phil Gough, Gary Joiner and Ryan will help me achieve this, if they can keep up with me ;o)

So, if I’m going to push myself to my limits like this, I want to raise some serious money for Cystic Fibrosis. One of the friends climbing with me lost his wife to it 9 years ago and another friend (not joining us) has his first son born with the disease.

Lets rock n roll, share the heck out of this and if there are any companies wanting to sponsor me, I’ll make sure they get good coverage on my football network Vital Football and social media... do it, you know it makes sense. Help me up the mountain and then hopefully I’ll have enough energy to also come back down it?!
