Families of ill and injured children face incredible burdens missed work and school, loss of income, increased expenses and separation from loved ones. Housing is the last thing parents should have to worry about when their child is sick or injured. Thats why FedExFamilyHouse made a promise when they opened in 2010 this will be a place of hope and healing for out-of-town families of Le Bonheur Childrens Hospital patients. It costs $100 to provide a family a one night stay at FedExFamilyHouse. Many families served here cannot go home for the holidays as their little ones are too ill for travel.
