On 15th December 2017 I was asked by Devon County Council to meet with them to talk about Eve, my Great Aunt and her Alzheimer’s and how to best care for her.  Less than a month later she was in full time care, moved from Devon to Northamptonshire and I have become her legal guardian.  Eve is 93, once a professional ballet dancer and teacher.  She is incredibly healthy but Alzheimer's has stolen her independence.  She is full of joy and laughter and has changed my life in so many incredible ways.  I am swimming for Eve!
