I know, I know! Faye and running half a marathon is a combination that you would not expect to see often – but its happening!!...and really soon!! I’m taking part in the Royal Parks half marathon to support The Shelley Foundation on behalf of The Royal Marsden Hospital.  My life was touched by an angel a year ago by Shelley who fast became one of my closest and dearest friends for life. Shelley fought breast and secondary breast cancer for over 6 years but did so with strength, dignity and always a smile on her face.

 

I feel so incredibly honoured to have met a lady who inspired me beyond words, shone with love brighter than the sun, taught me how to be the best I can be – and that ‘nothing’ is impossible, you just got to believe. So with that in mind and my true angel running by my side I hope to raise money for a charity that looked after our lovely Shelley with such love.
