Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page- here's why I'm here...

I began running two and a half years ago with the wonderful support of Rugby Ladies Running group and I never thought I would be saying this but... 

...I'm running in the Coventry Half Marathon in October! It was originally going to be in 2020 but, well, we know what happened there! 

Anyway, all being well it should be going ahead. I was so close in my previous training plan that with a little help from my sidekick Craig, I ran my first half marathon on a snowy day in January 2021. To be honest I'm not keen to run another but completing it officially is my aim. 

Like my previous plan, I still want to raise money for the local charity,  Zoë's Place Baby Hospice who have found it particularly difficult in the pandemic and have had to greatly reduce their capacity due to funding.  Thank you so much to those who already sponsored me last time. Your donations were vital and helped to keep the charity going through the tough times but now they need our help more than ever! 

This wonderful and vital place holds a special place in our hearts as they offered support, care and much more to my cousin Steve and his wife Sarah in the care of their beautiful daughter Jaime. 

I would be really appreciative of any donations towards the cost of supporting other families like ours at Zoë's Place through my half marathon running page. Your support will not only be vital to this small charity but it'll help put a little pep in my step as I attempt to officially run the biggest distance I've ever ran!
