New challenge for March 150km
🏆🏆🏆✅🎉🎉COMPLETED🎉🎉✅🏆🏆🏆
The girls have completed the challenge of 100km for February and raised way beyond what they ever imagined for Marwell Zoo so they have decided to keep up the hard work by setting themselves a new challenge of 150km for March. This will be a huge challenge for them not only is it further to cycle than last month but they will both be returning to school so they will be extra tired 😴 however they both are really looking forward to starting this and getting to the target 🎯 and hopefully raising more money for a place they love ❤️
Thank you for all the support a d donations from Faith and Elizabeth 👧🏼🚲👧🏼🚲

Elizabeth (6)and Faith (6) have been doing a bike ride challenge of 35km for the month of February to earn a medal which we purchased online to get them out of the house and exercising during lockdown. Both the girls only learnt to ride their bikes last summer so this was a huge challenge for them both. So far they have completed their challenge with 36.44km already despite the bad weather we have been having and have earned their medal already 🏅 😁 🙌🏻. After hearing about the recent events at Marwell Zoo with the break in, the girls have decided they wanted to help and wondered if they doubled their target for the month if anyone would sponsor them.
They have decided of a target of £128.96 because it is enough money to feed the tigers 🐅 for 2 weeks. (Elizabeth actually wants to also feed them herself)
So the girls have 11 days to do almost 34km!
Please support our girls in this big challenge 🚲 👧 👧
While Marwell Zoo is closed to our guests, we want to reassure you that we are keeping the care and welfare of our animals as our highest priority. Our talented teams including keepers, vets, scientists, maintenance workers and landscapers are working tirelessly to ensure there is no interruption to the dedicated and compassionate care each and every animal receives and we are in awe of their energy during this unsettling time.Marwell relies on day ticket, membership, retail and catering sales; things we are no longer receiving; in order to operate. We are reducing non-essential expenses, but we simply cannot do the same for the daily care all our animals need. You can help us through these difficult times. Your generosity will ensure we can go the extra mile caring for the animals so that future generations can experience the joy of coming to the zoo and knowing what we can do for conservation here in the UK and the world. Every penny adds up and so does our gratitude, so thank you
